Lovely Private Island

One of the highlights of my visit was taking the water taxi to the private Renaissance Island. The experience of lounging on the beach, surrounded by flamingos and iguanas, was beyond relaxing. The island had excellent amenities, including cabana rentals that came with a dedicated butler service. I enjoyed very nice lunch options without ever feeling crowded, making this one of my favorite parts of the trip.

Great Fitness Facilities

The fitness center at the Renaissance was great. It was spacious, well-equipped with a wide range of machines, and open 24 hours. I found it clean and enjoyable to work out in, which really helped offset all the delicious food I was indulging in during my stay. The atmosphere was invigorating, and I was often the only person there, allowing for a focused workout.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a birthday celebration, but I was left quite disappointed. While the flamingos and the overall atmosphere were enjoyable, the service did not meet my expectations, especially considering the price I paid. The hotel could definitely improve in areas concerning communication and follow-through on special requests.
